Nice tank.

I love your acans! They are my favorite.

I always wondered, how do you get clams to stay on rocks? I assumed they would move and fall. Mine is on the sand and he spins in circles.

Thanks for the compliments. The rock that the clam is on has a deep crevace there so it sits down in it nicely and can't really move itself. I am trying to have success with sps but have had problems. They seem to do well for a couple months and then go south. The pearlberry is the first I have tried since adding the reactor so hopefully I will have more luck. I think my main problem is just stability though. Luckily that acan is one of the few that have done well in my tank. I had a couple that got fried when I added the AI. One is making a decent comeback but the other is come and go.

I have the same problem with my Squamosa. He spins around and blows sand all over my corals. I have read to place rocks under the sand to prevent further digging and this behavior.

Looks good, but what is the red stuff in the back? Any updates?
The red stuff in the back was dragon's breath macro algae. This tank crashed when I moved to OKC from the panhandle last year. I will be putting the whole setup up for sale soon to help pay for an Apex controller.
