I started this build about a month or so ago. Im in the process of upgrading from my 44 corner pentagon. The tank will be a standard AGA 90gal RR. Stand is DIY that way I could get more height. I wanted to be able to see right into the DT without bending over. Here is a few pics of the stand coming together.

For rock I went with reefrocks. Ive used them before and loved them. I seeded with a could of small pieces from my other tank. Substrate is Tropic Eden Reef Flakes. Here we go with the cycle underway.

Lighting is a TEK 8x48'. Flow is going to be 2 MP-10's and 1 or 2 Koralia 750's from my other tank if I need them. Right now I just have the Mp-10 in there both set to reef crest and max out at the top end. I was very surprised with the flow im getting with just those. I still waiting on my sump should be getting that this week. For now I just have a 15 gal under there with just enough water to get things going. Like I said the cycle is just started so Im still a good bit away from stocking. Transfering over from my 44 is two Occelaris clowns, Hippo, Kole, and a blue spotted watchman. Also coming over is a slew of corals. Shooting for a heavy SPS presence, but I do have a few LPS also. not big on softies, and a few zoos will also make the trip. Guess thats it for now. Enjoy.

Well everything has been going smoothly. Today was my first hiccup. I had been waiting to get for my real sump to hook up the ATO. In the meantime I've just been manually topping off the 15 gal I have running for a sump ATM. Well I'm leaving for vacation soon so I figured I'd try to set it up. The ATO is from autotopoff.com. I got the dual switch controller. When I went to test it, it will not turn on/off pump. I can hear the relay switching but the pump will not activate. I tried the pump and it is working just not with the ATO. I also tried a couple of other pumps I have laying around. They won't switch on either. So now I have a call out to ATO.com. Does anyone have one of these. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyway the tank is cycling nicely and I'm getting antsy. Can't wait. Anyway that's it ATM.

HMMMM that is really wierd. I have the same Auto Top off from the website and mine works just fine. Could be a a defective unit. I'm sorry to hear that you are having problem with your ato.

Here's the response from ATO.com"Hi John it sounds like the relay contacts may not be making a good connection. Try bending the prongs of whatever is plugged into the controller slightly in/out and let me know if that makes a difference. "I'll give it a shot tonight. Fingers crossed

Hey, GREAT job! You should make tank stands for extra cash; you are very talented!

Your rockscape looks great, too! I can't wait to see this all set up & running... BTW, great Mickey wallpaper!

Thx, though I've had enough of building stands. The tank is in my sons playroom and the Mickey wallpaper is actually paint. It took me about 2 weeks to paint this room working everyday. That was about 5 years ago. I dread the day when I have to repaint.

Thats exactly where the edit button is in every other forum. I've been check after just about every post. This would not normally be a big deal but my spelling is the pits. Lets see if its there.

Ammonia dropping. Nitrites on the rise.

ATO.com is taking the ATO back to replace the relay.
Nothing to see in the tank as of yet. But I'm beginning to see the start of a diatom bloom. It expected though.
