Vermetid - ???

Of course cyano is a constant issue for me so its not all sunshine and rainbows.
I do not personally hate vermetid snails. I believe my anemones did. So, if I want to try bta's again, the vermins have to go. I would rather deal with cyano over vermins. But, when I had cyano issues, my husband and son were having nasal issues.

Sleep is for the weak!
I inherited insomnia from my dear dad. Thanks dad!
I have a 180 DT and added 40 of them.
If they didn't cost 3 dollars each, i'd get 30 more. I might just have too if i find a nice deal on them.

Mine are slackers. Not even sure what they are eating...

Baby went to bed, and I did random tank maintenance. Spent some time with my oldest son. Now i get a coffee :)

Yes, my wife is asleep when her head hits the pillow. I marvel at this superhuman ability. I take about 10-15 min to really zonk out unless I'm well past exhaution. Coincidentally my first is a clone of me, and I was difficult all the way through my teen years, and my second is a clone of my wife who is an ocean of calm. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree I guess!
I’m not sure I actually sleep anymore. Rather some odd limbo.
I'm Gen X, so definitely a slacker...

Leaving for Philadelphia today. Back on Wednesday evening. Hope the tanks hang in there!

Goals of the week:
1. Rearrange sand bed zoas again
2. Take photo of sand bed zoas for POTM
3. Adjust feeding to get NO3 up
4. Prep tank for Flux starting next week

How did the tank fare in your absence?

Got in late and only had time to toss some food in and go. 40 looks good. The widow finally split. The 10 with the clowns is messy. Going to have to do some work cleaning it. Needs more corals to soak up nutrients. Nothing dead that I can tell!

In lighter news, I arranged a zoa garden for the Zoa POTM contest:

Plate is like "Um, guys, we cool?"

I also found this zoa under one of the huge green mushrooms. It was only a very thing pair of stalks and remounted it onto a plug. Coming back in, and now I know what it is! It's a fake purple hornet.

So sorry for your loss he was very pretty.
Thanks, I was gutted when I saw him on the floor. I picked him up and he was all dry and hard, and for the life of me I could not find a hole that he his body could fit through. No idea. I may upgrade lids before getting more wrasses--and I'm getting more wrasses.

I'm sorry, man! That is how I have lost both of my coris wrasse's i tried in my biocube. Found em as fish chips... Swore I would make a proper lid for my 60 cube and havent added any new fish to the biocube since. I have also had to fish one of my percs and my royal gramma out of the back filtration chamber. I got lucky they hit water again...

Skiing over coral shows... I see where your priority lies...
Just goes to show your one of those reefers... :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
Haha, I didn't even know about the frag swap. Gotta get these priorities straight!
