Gulf Shores, Alabama? That's where my family vacationed every year for like 40 years :)

I’m in Mobile now, as of September last year… but yeah GS is only an hour away… needed to be closer to work… getting old and the long drive was starting to get to me

Then And Now Series: that biggazz trachy

My trachy has been a joy to watch grow. I love a meaty coral, and this one does not disappoint. Sure @Goaway will appreciate this one. It's actually becoming a problem (good problem) in that moving it is difficult. The rock it is attached to is buried in the sand, and that was done since it is close to the pistol shrimp and I didn't want the pistol shrimp excavating beneath the trachy. Now, the trachy is so large I can't reach around it with my hand to pull it out of the sand and reposition it (hand size joke setup) , which I had to do when the Octospawn started sending out sweepers. Anyway, happy with this guy but no idea where he goes next!

It is a bit flat on the left side, because that is where the gyre flow hits it, but hasn't had any problems so far receding or showing skeleton. He's gonna need more real estate...
What setting do you run your gyre on?

4. More food for the pigs
5. RODI filters
6. Soft corals for clown tank
7. CUC from ReefCleaners
8. Gyre repairs
9. New coral cutters
10. Carbon
11. Another inkbird or that other kind that starts with an R
12. More wrasses
13. To be continued

I'm kind of digging this zoa garden I made for the Feb POTM. I might just keep it like this. Especially with the plate coral playing centerpiece.

Then there's this from @TangerineSpeedo which is an amazing steel blue! Guess it's a little bit purple here, but looks more blue in person.

I have a ton of Kenya if you want for the clown tank. Also some pulsing 'Z' if you want to go there.
You can save your old coral cutters by using this stuff. I use it at work all the time. I bought a small bottle just for my maintenance tools. you can get it anywhere though, I think even harbor freight.

I'll try one of your Kenyas! I'll probably want to swing your way one of these days to also pick up a sunkist bounce from Ester, too.

Ohhhhh an excuse to go to Summit. Looks like a great plan for this weekend. They have an awesome mustang (and camero) show in the summer.

I'll check it tomorrow. Just remember that it's set to forward and reverse, but don't remember the speeds.
Been considering running one of the preset tidal patterns on mine. Right now I have it running random at 50% max, but might try LTC or OTC to see how that goes because they will run forward and reverse automatically. Just really hard to gauge right now with nothing but rock and sand in the tank.
