compressed air w a nozzle works...;):)
 
An air compressor is your best friend to separate them. Place the nozzle where the buckets meet and blow air in. They will separate
I type too slow... :face-with-rolling-eyes: ;)
 
I was trying to separate two buckets for HOURS! And at the time, it felt wayyyyy to hard to really think about how to solve the issue…so I got a new bucket :D
Way better solution than struggling to blow a bucket.

Lol and from now on we have my “heavy duty bucket” and the new bucket
 
I use one bucket to clean my sand, then a hose to siphon tank water to a shower drain or toilet.
Easy peasy.
 
Reality tip - don’t don’t stack the buckets so they can properly ventilate and dry, preventing mildew and smells
