Well just wanted to share my new setup with everyone on here. I am having the hardest time picking which coral to put in the tank.
I am running a 4 bulb Tek unit rite now.
I am not running it with any skimmer.

there is two chalice, frogspawn, rhizo, and acan. the chalice receded a little due to the fact that the tank had no light for a week because of the holiday the light got delay. It looking much better today.

New tanks are always fun but if your going to run skimmerless Id stick with lps and zoa/palys they should thrive with the extra nutrients.

also keep in mind that a lot of acans, and that rhyzo eat some pretty good amounts of chow.

Even though they do ok in higher nutrient levels than SPS, the water can get pretty skanky quick.

My rhyzo eats like a cow, and would trash my tank by himself if i was running skimmerless.

Cool tank, love the aquascaping, and im sure everything will do great with or without a skimmer as long as it gets larger weekly water changes.

Keep us updated.

Ktar do you still have this tank? Any updated shots? It's a pretty old thread I dug up, just wondering how you liked the Cadlight tank? Pro's and Cons?
