Hey guys im doing a upgrade from 29 gallons 2 either 40 gallon breeder or 55 gallon. Any one have a preference

Between the two, 40 breeder. Can be drilled and more front to back floor space. For a 4' tank, I'd do a 75 or 90... actually have several times each.

Stands are hard to come by for 40 breeders. I had to build one. It isn't hard to do and the cost isn't much at all.

I think its mostly for aesthetic reasons. The 55 gallon is only 12 inches wide so it doesnt leave much room to create any appearance of depth in the tank.

Finding a well-built, nice looking stand will be difficult to do without spending $300+, at least that was my experience. I also have a 40b and I built the stand. After it was all said and done, I spent less than $150.

I dont like the 55 because its just tall and skinny... as the 40gb is wide and alows my to design more with the substrate. Still waiting on making my stand

Just wanna show you nano guys the tank the I want with a few months ago
