Led help

So im looking to do led's. I am going to use them over a 24inch wide 8 inch deep grow tank. I like the Reef Brites because they are modular. Would 2 50/50's and 1 blue be sufficient to start? I plan on hanging it about 12 inches above water. I understand that I may not have full front to back coverage, but they are modular I could add as necessary.

So tell me what I dont know...

Should be more than enough IMHO.... Everyone under estimates including me but now having a month under my belt of strictly led use only I have learned a lot.... They are very powerful!!!!!!! Be careful with them lol..... I bleached a lot of my sticks that were cooking under 250w radiums fwiw....;)

those bleached sticks can be sent to the disaster relief efforts here in Ringgold, Troy. I will rehab them for you. No cost to you at all bro!:xd:

they have came back better than ever....1smile1 sps do extremely well under leds i don't care what any one says lol.....no issues with browning or anything some are actually a lot brighter than they ever were under metal halides..... only a couple chalice colonies in the sand struggling but they were just normal chalices anyways nothing special....any blue acro under led's just turns a deep rich blue it's pretty sick.... wish i could get a pic of my enchinatas there insane!!!!
