Such and awesome goby, im thinking about getting one of these myself, how has he been for you?

It's been a great citizen of my tank. It is somewhat bashful but when it's out, it's really fun to watch lurk around.

jul 8 2017 A species difficult to handle in aquarium. I missed it 1 months after introduction.

Sep 12 - 2017 Still in the aquarium. seems to be the easiest of these SPS gobies. 4 of them and in different SPS colonies. Its total black when its thrive.

This week I will probably get two more gobies species - will comeback with picture later

Yes - I keep them together with other small fishes like cardinals, pipefish and small wrasses. DT = 300 litre (80 gallons). There is two more species on its way into this aquarium - yellow upside down gobie and a new I do not know the name of.

It's a red sea reefer XL 425 a 112 gallon he does a wonder job at keeping all the sand clean.
You said you want 2 for you 28g? That might be dangerous. Just make sure you feed them good. I use a sinking pellet for them. I made the mistake the first time I ever had one he was sifting sand so I figured he was good but I think I starved the poor little guy :( but now I know better.

All three of them share that space! They all lived under the rock until one night my smaller goby decided to jump out of my tank and become a potato chip. But yes they both protected the shrimp while the shrimp burrowed under the rocks, anytime the gobies got spooked they would shoot underneath the rock

Absolutely. I haven’t started fully planning out my stock and researching, so it sounds like I shouldn’t get one in there.

I have 1 in my small 35 gallon system but it's a little guy I might have to move him when he gets bigger but for now he's good. I would say your safe with 1 for now but rmeebr you might have to rehome him later.
