I purchased 2 small lettuce nudis about 1/2" in length, one for each biocube a few months ago. When I migrated to the single 90 I put one in the DT and one in the refugium. Now, I am see these little ones popping up in the DT. They're not the same ones I put in there as they are only 1/8" long. I guess someone laid eggs and a few made it. It's fine with me since they're lettuce nudis, but I don't want to have a massive explosion of them.

As I see then roaming on the glass I'll pull them off and put in a sump holder. I can ship them easily, but finding them and getting them off the surface without killing them will be fun. I found the larger one I originally added and hes still mowing down the algae. I've seen 4 tiny ones so far. They don't hang around in the same place too long, though and I have a lot of hiding places. They're also hard to see.

OK. I counted 5 so far. A couple are 1/4", the others are 1/8 to 1/4" and growing quickly. If you want a few to grow I can snag a few of the 1/4" ones. They look really healthy and are mowing away at the fuzz growth after my last peroxide cleaning. Will post a pic shortly of a few. Just pay shipping and they're yours.

For 5lbs, UPS Ground is $16 with 2 days in transit. I won't know the real weight until I pack it. They should be fine for 2 days in an insulated container. So.. you'll basically get an extra one and free shipping if you compare to ordering from reefs2go. That said, reefs2go probably has a DOA warranty.

I have 3 in a floating breeder in the sump waiting to ship. Took several days for them roam around to where I could see them and get them off the rock. I saw #1 a couple days ago and he is 3X the size as he was at introduction. These slugs need lots of light and green chloroplasts to grow.

I can ship you a couple. They are around 1/4" when out of the water. I have not seen any eggs recently and I caught the last one from the DT last week. Ended up with 6 IIRC. Waiting to see more in the breeder before I let too many go. I am thinking about putting a couple back in the DT to see if they will reproduce there again.

$13.45 for medium flat-rate box from USPS. Should be 2-day delivery and I'll add plenty of paper to soak up the water if the bag leaks.

I'll have to take stock tonight when I get home. Last I counted there were 6 in there so I could spare 3. Hopefully the population reduction in the breeder will encourage reproduction. Do you want some GHA they've been feeding on, in the bag for them, or do you want them in clean water?

OK. To remove them from the bag you can move your finger back and forth across near their back and they'll release and ball up. Out of water they are like a jelly blob so be careful with them. You may have to help them find an attachment surface if there is current.
