Light intensity

now considering some people have the light spectrum set at 140% for the uv, v, b ,rb. should i keep the settings you reccomend for a while and slowly increase them? or should these be perminent settings?
Yes. The idea is to see how coral responds to these setting whish I used in a 93 cube and had excellent color and growth.

The photone app (iOS, android) does a perfectly fine job measuring PAR for our purposes if you’re comfortable submerging you’re phone inside a ziploc bag.

i dose 1ml of reef energy and my params are
alkalinity 8.0
Calcium 416
Magnesium 1347
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0

0 nitrate can be an issue. Do you have a phosphate test? What test kits are you using?

I'd definitely up the reef energy amount. Maybe 3 or 5 ml as I'm thinking you are having an issue with too little nitrogen

I don’t have a test kit but I tested it at the store and it was either .1 or just barely traceable the problem is it only shows 0.0 these numbers and not 0.00 but I use salifert test kits for everything but phosphate, nitrite, nitrate, ammonia.

Ah I would get a better phosphate test. It's important to know. Still, I'd definitely up the reef energy dosage.
