I have two a360x lights I'm looking for a lighting schedule for them. I have them on my 40 gal breeder tank eight inches from water. I'm doing mixed reef more sps then other stuff.

Are you using the controller or dongle? Are these replacing previous lights or is this a new setup? I usually do a 12hr cycle with a 2hr or 3hr ramp up/down. I hold peak for 6-8hrs, I run violets at 100% during peak and I'm currently using 5% red and green during peak times as well. Color is solely based on preference. I think 25% to 50% is a good range for color, but if it's just the two 360x's, then maybe 25% to 35% will have a nice blend of blue with a little warm white. I personally like more white during peak hours, but I have Orphek OR bars to offset the "warm" look during peak times.
Rent or borrow a par meter to find the right intensity, but you can safely increase intensity by 2% to 5% a week, wait a week, then increase again. Observation is key here, so take your time and be patient.
I'll try to post my actual schedule in a bit.

I run mine for 12 hours a day with each one at 100% intensity the whole time. The first few hours and last few I run them at 100% blue and violet. The 6 hours or so in between they are at 50/50 blue/white and violet at 100%. Simple and seems to work good for me.

They all became nocturnal once they saw a trigger years ago. Smart little suckers. I havnt added any snails or hermits in a couple years and the other night with a flashlight I counted 15 hermits and like 10 snails out. Triggers are my favorite fish and have had them in every tank for the last 35+ years.
