I've been doing reef tanks for over 25 years and today I experienced something new. One big reason I love this hobby. I'll try to upload a short video of what I believe are tiny jellyfish. I turned off the pump in my 14 gallon nano to feed the LPS. As I go back to check on their digestive progress, I see what look like microscopic badminton shuttlecocks pulsing up to the top of the water and floating back down. Then they pulse back up to the top.

Has anyone else had these? Do they know what they are? I think they're pretty cool and probably would never see them unless the pumps are off.

That would be cool if it were baby jellyfish. However, I don't want to be the pooh pooh head, but they could also be the medusal stage of a type of hydroids.
