Longfin clownfish

Hi, it’s me again! I have a 25 gallon AIO, with soft corals. I have a longfin clownfish, YWG, pistol shrimp, and recently (3 weeks ago) added a cryptic wrasse to my system. My clownfish has always looked a little funky, but she is developing these tiny white spots. Is this a cause for concern? Next steps? Thank you in advance!

I see secondary bacterial lesions associated with brooklynella. Very pretty longfin BTW. Often with this, you will notice, not always - slime on its body which is not noticeable on the fish. This mucus generally starts at the facial area as well as gills and spreads across the body producing lesions as it progresses often confused with ich and can turn into secondary bacteria. You can safely add Ruby rally pro to tank which covers an array of clownfish issues and is safe for other fish, coral and inverts

I can’t see the spots you mentioned. Do you know what marine ich looks like?

screen capture, one clear spot on the head is visible in much of the video. The tiny dot on the body is an artifact from the glass, which is filmy and may confound diagnosis.

Thank you! I will purchase it. I have a 40 gallon AIO which has been going for almost two months with no fish, inverts or coral. Should I add the clownfish to this tank and dose the meds? Or do it in her regular tank?

Which behavior changes should I look for? I do know what ich looks like, but it’s genuinely hard for me to tell if this ich.

Which behavior changes should I look for? I do know what ich looks like, but it’s genuinely hard for me to tell if this ich.

Stilted swimming, where the fish looks “stiff”.
