Looking for heater recommendations

Hello everybody I have a 75 gallon tank with overflow and a R 100 sump. Looking for suggestions for a heater.

Eheim jaeger if you don’t mind the size. These things last forever.

I’ve had good experience with finnex titanium too.

Whichever you get make sure to have a temp controller.

I'm partial to the titanium tubes & an external controller.
I'm using a Finnex heater & an Inkbird controller right now.

I'll third the finnex titanium. Best heater I've ever bought. Unfortunately they need an external controller of some sort as they do not self regulate(no internal thermostat), but most of us run some sort of controller(like an inkbird) as a fail safe anyways.

I have found that heater quality doesn't really matter.....I have a bucket full of dead heaters from the cheapest to the most expensive on the market. I now just buy whatever I can find, run them on a controller, and consider them disposable. That being said, I have probably had the best luck with the Aqueon Pros, surprisingly.

Can't go wrong with Eheim jaeger.
I too currently run Aqueon pros and have for some years now with no problems.

The only two heater related failures I’ve had were a jaeger and the inkbird I had my finnex titanium plugged into.

The finnex titanium has a digital controller so I no longer use the inkbird. Just added a second one for redundancy. I also have them for qt and water mixing. They are all I will use until I have a reason to try something else.
