Hi everyone!

I finally got my first coral, a GSP frag I placed about 3/4 of the way down my back glass on my IM 15gal AiO. I have done some reading on here and unfortunately am unable to get a PAR meter right now.

What kind of intensity is everyone running on similar lights for coral growth?

I currently have the WiFi dongle and the light has 12 hours of run time with a warm up and cool down period, topping out at 10% intensity.

Thanks everyone!

Do you know how deep the tank is?
A Kessil a360w on that size tank is a lot of light! I'd recommend keeping it dialed down like you have it so you don't nuke anything. For example, my tank is 20 inches deep, my two a360x are set to 70% intensity during peak hours and I get 250 on the sand bed.

The entire tank is 15” by 15”, so not very big. Your suggestion is exactly why I’m asking, cause I had read the 360 is a lot of light. I don’t want to fry my livestock! 😂

Just for some additional perspective sans a PAR meter: Running the 360xe at 11% intensity over a 20.5 gallon. Light is about 9-10 inches over surface. I have some anacropora and stylo corals about 4-5 inches below surface level. I just watch the corals over time and see how they respond. Nothing fancy. Just patience and watchfulness.

I run one every foot on my eshopps m130g 60” long tank. I have them at 60% and using the wider of the narrow kessil reflectors, I’m at 300 par on the bottom, 400 mid, 450 to 500 up high. That’s using an apogee 510 par meter to test. I have color at 40, purple 100, red 15, green 0
