Hello, my name is Dave and I am getting back into this wonderful hobby after many years away. I once had a thriving 100 gallon SPS tank but lost everything due to a multi-day power outage that occurred during the summer. I will now be much better prepared and expect to create a mostly LPS tank. So many things have changed since over a decade ago. I prefer to buy equipment and supplies that are made to last a very long time, are premised on good scientific research and have great customer service backing to boot. It would also be a breath of fresh air to deal with a company whose staff is well informed on the various aspects of reefing. Based on your experience, who would be you "go to" suppliers for most things REEF? ? Your advice is very much appreciated and thank you in advance!

Dave, Welcome to R2R!

Stay away from Red Sea tanks...seam breaks. Do a search on tank fails here. Their equipment are good though.
@Joe Glass Cages. Eshopps, Cade and IM tanks great tanks
Premium Aquatics and https://www.saltwateraquarium.com for aquarium supplies

Welcome back, glad you are here! I’m assuming Canton Ohio? For corals you have Tidal Gardens a short distance north of you. O-H!

Just to clarify, I should have said that I'm from Canton, Michigan. I already have a 125 custom acrylic tank. I also plan to purchase most of my corals from Cherry Corals, close by, in Livonia. I was impressed by their beautiful selection, their expertise and willingness to help!.
