Is it the clear kind or the kind with a brown/tan tint? I've used the kind with a brown/tan tint, supposedly not the reef safe one and my LPS were fine after :)

Has always worked well for me :) Although I've probably only used it 20 or so times.

so far I've yet to have a chalice react badly to revive, zoa's seem to love it, but I have killed a couple acans and a very sadly healthy number of SPS frags using it (all the SPS's that suffered were of the 'deepwater' variety and/or aussie acros (hawkins' echinata, granulosa's, turaki's, and lokani's.)

dude!!! this is so weird. jus jus jus last night i try and do research on using revive on lps because of a favia i have that is not doing well. most people seemed to think it was safe, but after dipping i didn't see much change and had to frag today. but it seems overall that it is ok to use on lps
