Salt can be mixed regardless of brand as long as the salt to water ratio is the same on each. IO and RC both mix at approximately 2 cups to 4 gallons for 1.026 SG so they're good to mix. Alk, calc, mag, and trace will be different between the two potentially, but SG should be equal.

Today I posted about the 20 long and pallifina in the local group :( I’m really going to hate seeing it go. But I’ve also come up with a conundrum.

I listed the 10 gallon Waterbox on marketplace. I planned to pull the listing to use the tank for Bloo and his female and another male( maybe). I forgot to pull the listing and got messaged this am. Someone is offering me lower than I’d like, but seems really into the tank. If I sell the tank, I can’t keep Bloo. If I keep it I’ll feel bad for telling the interested party that I need the tank.

Top that with me having to move the flex 9 to the stand with the flex 15 to put the ten gallon back on that stand.

I’ve a lot of work this weekend.

Oh and I asked mom to find a better box for the painting because I don’t trust the way I boxed it.

You could always just say it’s no longer available and pull the add. Especially if this person offered less than asking.

What they've said. You owe them nothing. If you'd rather have the tank than the money, keep the tank. If you're willing to negotiate on price, do that. And you can still walk if the price isn't good enough.

I let her down as easy as I could. She understood completely and mentioned if it comes up available again to let her know.

With that said, I May place it on the wood stove. Hubbs kinda made it clear he has no intentions of fixing that this year and I can use the heater from the 20 long in there.

Also, my box came from Dinkins and yeah, I’ve found my pod supplier. Not only did they send another beautiful rock, this time I can see the pods in there, but they also sent a snacklebox.
Definitely didn’t have to do any of that, but I appreciate it so so much!

My rock flower seems to have gotten happier. It’s now twice its size.

Our LRS has a can drive, zoas for cans. I saw a really pretty green one so I may see if it’s still there.

Well took the cans. Got a single head of something. And was given a rock with zoas/ palythoas. And then Hubbs bought the torch/hammer/ whatever. Need to see if it wants more or less flow. It’s fully retracted with skeleton showing tonight so it’s pretty mad. The tank it was in didn’t have a lot of flow so maybe I’ll move it a bit. Oh and free starfish. Heck yeah. Plans are to move the zoa rock to the big tank once I get it heated.

Also I set the 10 gallon up with Bloo and his wife and another male. These two are kinda up in age so spawning may or may not happen but at least there’s a young one in there in case.

Those green plays are spreaders. They'll throw heads and even climb the glass. I believe potassium makes them more blue, lower levels.makes them green or brown.

The big bright green ones that there’s only a few of it the predominant ones that I can’t tel if they’re green or not? lol. I hope I didn’t mess the tank up by getting them in there. And now I think I’ll keep them here and not move to the LBAL tank.

Which btw is now full. I’ll get pics later this afternoon. Got the day off, kiddo needed a day, she and her husband need some prayers, so if y’all would be so kind.

I got three of the pallifina gone yesterday, supposed to have someone coming today to grab the tank and the stand. And three of the pallifina. That leaves three and if the person doesn’t show up today then I’ll be stuck with three and nowhere for them to go besides a bucket. I think I’ll work on getting all six moved, and clean the tank and stand. Hubbs has to help hoist it all outside. Dogs don’t allow people in and I can’t slide them in my floor.

Bloo, his wife and the smaller male are all settled in nicely. I’m still in the fence about if I want to move the 9flex and put the tan back in that stand or what.

5:30 am and this is such a nice view. This Natura LED is amazing. This is the sun/moon sync cycle so when it’s a full moon I see pretty water.

Adding some microbacter7 daily to get the cycle going. Think I’ll go grab a piece of shrimp from the grocery store. Fun to see their faces. “I need one single raw shrimp, please. How much will that cost?”
