PREACH!!!
Bubble algea is my fault thought I got it all. The red cyano film and all other stages suck. After dealing with cyano it grow in higher, low and no flow. I firmly believed its cause by nutrient and bacteria imbalance in systems. In new or even in upgraded tanks with new sand and rock these absorb the nutrients nitrates and phosphates till an equilibrium is reached causing low nutrients

Flow has nothing to do with it. I think they say more flow to try and blow it off surfaces. It always comes around with no3 and po4 imbalance with makes it easier to get rid of.
