Wow, nice growth in 4 mths.
yeah, Mohawks have always done pretty well for me.. about 3-4 polyps/month is average... :)looking nice marv, they sure have grown
yeah, the Echino is pretty nice.. I hope it colors up a little more and develop the green edges.. TFG had a frag of the best looking Green Aussie I've seen yet.. it was bright green with very deep purple center... it was beautiful... but he only had a "fraglet"... I hope he brings in a colony of it next shipment... :)Marvin stop going by TFG before I get there. I am sick you buying up all the good frags.(LOL!) I like that chalice you had them holding. Nice sherbert too!! What did you think of that purple aussie colony? :marv :marv :marv
Thanks Charles and Chris.. :)
I think for my Aussies, they prefer less lighting... I just brought back the eggcrate and 1 sheet of black fiber glass screen and they are more puffy than ever... I'm not sure how it'll affect their colors but most of my corals seem like they are a little bigger than usual when they were being pounded by the 250w DE MH... I'll be keeping the eggcrate and black screen for atleast 2-3 months to see the long term effect on coloration, growth, and appearance of the corals...
Interesting. I have mine under 3.5" of water and most of them are loving it. I'm using a 250w Radium bulb.
