hey, thanks guys... :)

I was gonna position the Aussies on the mag racks for some topdown pics but it was taking forever to open up... they had their feeders out and it was time to feed my fishes so I decided to spot feed them for the first time ever with a turkey baster.. man, the Pink ring Aussie must've eaten 10-15 mysis shrimps... yummy!!!!

the RW are actually closed the past 3-4 days... :( I moved them to a higher flow area to stimulate opening response so we'll see... hope they open up..

Mine had closed for a while after fragging, I think more due to the crappy algae condition of my tank (many of my Z&Ps looked not-so-good). After replacing a fair amount of the water during teardown and setup, they have started opening up again. Picky little buggers aren't they!

yupperz... I've never had any issues with my RW before but I'm starting to doubt a little.. I'm sure I'll have a colony again sooner or later... ;)

hey marv.. so since im into this whole Paly/Zoa kick,, i figured id stray outside of Nano-reef.com a little and see whats brewin over here on reef2reeff.. i like this site alot..

by the way the one of the GPE babies has opened up :) the Aussie is about half open..

I'm in the process of establishing a rotating frag sessions for different morphs.. I'll probably make a step by step instruction of how I frag my zoas... different people use different techniques so not to say that my method is the best.. whatever works for you... :)

at any given time, I normally have 10-20 frags growing from different frag sessions.. I just set up my frag tank so hopefully that'll help clear the frag racks on the main tank.. :)

Marvin, why are you switching sea salts? Do you not like Reef Crystals or do you think that salt mix is missing something? I was thinking about switching to Reef Crystals from Tropic Marin Pro Reef mainly because of the price.

hello... I don't remember posting anything about switching salts... or maybe I'm just forgetting.. I've been using Reef Crystals for a while and I still have a full bucket left so I probably won't be switching for a while... :)

the skimmer is doing alright... I chose Tunze coz I've read good things about it and Tunze has always made decent products that why I went with it.. also, it's a nice skimmer coz it has a magnet holder... :)

for RC, I've heard Alk issues though I haven't had any issues with my buckets... I'm probably on my 4th bucket since I switched from Instant Ocean... I haven't been doing too much water change lately... I hope to start a project sometime this month where I'll be doing 15%-20% water changes every 7-10 for 2-3 months.. I want to slowly replace most of the water in the tank right now... I've done this before and I had good results so I hope to do it again soon.. :)
