This is what the MaxSpect Razor looks like in real life

This unit is going to also be released in an interchangable version as noted by maxspects reply to some comments near the bottom. I think this unit should be quite popular with its slim design and built in control points which are very eay to use. According to the graph on the page below it seems the unit will be able to adorn those four foot long tanks very efficiently with 100-200 Umol's(par) at a depth of 24 inches.

what is everyone else thinking?

I am interested to see how the dual 410/420 Epi LED's perform after hearing the masses consistantly ask why manuf. havent been including them. It makes sense that they run along the spectrum required for certain chlorophyll production

The light fixture looks great, but.....That stand for it is horrible.

The razor looks promising. I have to agree about the stand. It is quite flimsy. It is the same style as the Mazarra and that is the fixture I am running.

Hi thunder3,

The R420R-160w (28" model) has a maximum coverage of 48", however the included top tank mounting legs will only extend up to 42.5". We have them on our site listed for Pre-Order, and right now we're expecting them to arrive to us next week.

CoralVue has a lot of good information on these lights including LED's and mounting: R420R Specifications | CoralVue and R420R Mounting | CoralVue. I hope this helps.

Chris R.
