Since I'm moving soon, I figured now was the perfect time to get a new tank ready and tear down my ugly old one. The stand is a completely custom creation by the previous owner, the wood that he used is absolutely beautiful (Apparently Tiger Maple and Figured Cherry)

Planned equipment list:

Lights: Radion xr30w OR 2x kessil a360we. I have both light setups, but the tank has the mounts for the radion even though I prefer the kessil. Whatever I dont use is going on a frag tank.

Display pumps: 2x Maxspect xf230 Gyre pumps

Sump: Trigger system sapphire cube. I went with a smaller sump than what the tank came with to give me some more room in the stand for some reactors.

Return Pump: Reef octopus Varios 6 DC pump.

Refugium light: ?

Skimmer: Reef Octopus classic 150sss

Controller: Reefkeeper Elite (for now)

Heaters: 2x Eheim Jager 200w

I am definitely open to suggestions, so feel free to chime in. Next step, figuring out the plumbing....

Very nice!

It's been a while since I've posted an update but, unfortunately I am still waiting on the custom overflow. I made some measurements incorrectly which screwed things up a bit and slowed everything down. They are awesome with customer service and will post a full review of everything later.

A few other things going on:

1: I got my quarantine system started. Mostly I just moved the corals and fish over to get them out of the old tank to get things moving.

2: The maxspect gyre pump I bought is extremely loud. Contacted support and they sent out new bushings, shaft, and impeller which didn't work. I contacted them again and they are sending a new motor block. Should fix things up right.

3: My gf actually said "I can't wait for that tank to get set up, its gonna be soo cool" shes definitely a keeper. Im just gonna ignore how much I've spent on it.

4: The rock I have is finally fully cycled
