Hi, my name is Kathleen. My husband and I live outside Carthage, MO with a Joplin, MO address but live in Webb City School district. Messed up huh? Anyway, we have a 75 gallon salt tank that has been up and running about a year. My husband likes it but he doesn't like me touching anything in it and he doesn't actually do anything but look at it. He's into the St. Louis Cardinals. LOL

We also have a 180 freshwater cichlid tank. Hope to sell it and get a 125 salt tank. Then we have a 16 gallon that I'm going to set up as a QT tank next. Since we don't have a money tree though it's all on hold until a future time. LOL.

So let me see..you've got a saltwater tank that isn't being taken care of..but you want another one? :) hehe

I think you need to have your own tank, and then come on R2R so we can give you some great advice..then you'll have a waaaaay cooler tank!

I'm a little afraid to set up the 180. The silicone really looks bad on it. It's huge. I'm afraid it would be a money pit. However, I think I might have bought T5's for it trying to bring the color out on the cichlids. Hhmmmm....something to think about.

Kathleen-You can re-do the silicone,on our local forum,check out schrader,he works with glass all the time,he build his own tank not to long ago!
