Our Stars and Stripes puffer likes to keep biting the plastic guards on the MP40's I 3d printed replacement guards but I absolutely cannot remove the stock plastic guards. I've tried wet, dry, with towel, with silicone jar opener nothing works. Does anyone have tips to get these off?

I had same issues. It wouldn’t turn. I had coraline all along the seam. I used a xacto knife to score/cut all the way around and then was able to get them to twist apart

Even if you don’t see coraline you could have gunk in the seam. Score it with a thin blade and it should help
