Just wanted to share my aqueon dark zero build with everyone.

Here's what mods I've done and equipment, and everything I've added so far.

Aqueon 15 gallon column aquarium, top center brace removed for additional equipment space.

Aqueon 15 gallon aquarium stand, back panel installed upside down to help fit canister fill inside. Also used removable wall paper on the stand to customize the look.

Stock lighting under hood: To be updated

Fluval 107canister filter

Fluval e100 heater

Hydor circulation pump: flow rate 425gph

Live sand

One piece of dry rock from a previous set up

Comments, feedback and suggestions are welcome!

Welcome!

Glad you joined! This is great information and pictures for your build thread! All you'd have to do is move it over to the other Forum area. I love my build thread because it gives me a place to keep my tank history so I can see changes over time. Plus they give you a badge, look left under my ID.

Here is info I received on build thread and getting your first badge:

One fun way to learn from others and keep a record of your reef aquarium is to create your very own build thread! A build thread is just a thread that tells us about your aquarium and might include photos. You can create your build thread in one of these forums. MEMBER'S AQUARIUMS

Once you have created a build thread then you can get your VERY FIRST USER BADGE! YAY! It's easy to do and I have created a thread that tells you how to do it here: BUILD THREAD BADGE

Welcome to Reef2Reef! That thing looks tall enough for a seahorse tank!

Yep, plenty of vertical room, about 20 inches or maybe slightly more. Just ordered some mangrove shoots to plant for hitching posts.

Possibly going to add turtle grass as well.

So definitely leaning more towards seahorses at this point but cuddlefish are so dang cool tough decisions
