I like cheap and easy, they are captive bread Azures and tiny little things at about 1/2” .. They slept wedged behind the overflow with my clown last night so it looks like Mama clown has adopted them along with the tang which rarely leaves her side

My Derasa has really had a growth spurt over the last few months.. check out all the new shell growth

Not really sure, most of that growth happened in the nano which I really never test but I have bumped up my Kalk dosing since moving it into the new tank and have noticed my Alk is still dropping.

I’m fortunate enough to have a couple nice little reef shops just a few miles from me here in Manassas. Not sure I would go to far out of my way, but If your ever in the area check out Capital Aquarium 8825 commerce st. Manassas or Blue ribbon Koi 4641 sudley rd Catharpin Va.. there is another I occasionally go to called Reef eScapes 11141 lee hwy in Fairfax, not much on their coral selection but although pricey they have a fantastic fish section that are all quarantined before sale and they also have a large inventory of equipment and supplies.

The baby tang went home yesterday We had a heck of a time catching that little thing and I was hoping he would say just give up he rehoused his wrasse and also shifted some rocks around to confuse everyone before introducing the tang so hopefully this time things go smoothly.

Sorry I missed this, I need to check in on my build thread more often I have no detectable po4 using salfert test kit but my next purchase is going to be a low range Hanna. No Gfo or Chaetomorpha, I’m struggling to get my nutrients up as it is.. I have been running sockless for a few months, feeding heavy and I only run skimmer periodically but still no N or P.
