This encrusting Gorgi came in as a hitchhiker on a piece of rock and although it’s considered a nuisance coral I like it for its movement. as long as it’s kept isolated on the sand bed it's not a problem.

I have never been much of a tester after my tanks have cycled and stabilized but Im going to keep up with testing on this tank especially Alk.. I have a app on my iPad for tracking so I might as well use it

I glued some 1” ceramic squares together to set my Cyphastrea on until I decide where to put it.. noticed yesterday it’s starting to encrust the base Should make for some real easy frags.

I have enjoyed reading through your thread. I have a used 40B and sump I picked up years ago I am planning to get running this summer when I collect more gear, it’s been great to see you using some of the same stuff I have been looking at.
Curious how you feel about the metal stand 8 months in? I am considering building a wood one but am lukewarm on the idea, those metal stands look like a nice alternative.
