So I've been eyeing new wrasses for my 75g and have decided on a mystery Wrasse. I looked at a labouti wrasse too, but decided on the mystery. I caught my fat sixline two weeks ago and donated him, so the mystery will be the last addition to my tank. Anyone have suggestions or experience with them? Mine is coming from Quality Marine, so I'm sure it will be healthy :)

Hope your top is covered. I lost a few over the years from jumping. I have a cover on my cube now with my pair and no problems. Good luck hope you enjoy it for many years.

Thanks for that info - I might cover the perimeter with some eggcrate or build a DIY screen top from BRS

Go with the screen top. Eggcrate wont hold them, they will go right through it. Really cool fish but they can be a little on the aggressive side. Post up some pics when you get it.

I would make a screen top over eggcrate. It look sbetter in my opinion. They are very pretty fish that like to move rock s around every so often when they are larger.

One of my first first and have never had any issues. I've head they can be very aggressive but mine keeps to himself and is shy. Enjoy! Live that sucker.

My friend has one, thats what turned me on to one. His appears shy, but that may be due to the solarensis he has in there too. On a bad note, Delta screwed up the air freight and the order has been sitting in Atlanta since 6am on Thursday!! Might have to wait another week :(

Great choice and nice fish - I am a big fan of wrasses. Definitely make sure you work on a good top..they are notorious jumpers!

The order made it in after sitting at the airport for 36hrs after shipping and only 2 casualties in the entire order! I got my wrasse and he is AWESOME! Already out and about hunting for food. I'll get some pics :)

That's pretty good considering they sat at the airport so long. I hope the vendor is replacing those casualties.

I keep hearing about wrasse and them jumping. I have about 6 wrasse in my tank currently and it is a open top. and even before this tank I had wrasse in my other with a open top. never had anything jump out.

Go play the lottery because you are lucky my friend! I have an open top and have tried on two separate occasions to keep a six line, and they always jump out.
