I'm not sure if it's odd or not, but I think the sump i built it one of my favorite parts of my tank system. Something about me having built it I think, on to the pics!

Thanks! I finally broke down and tried my hand at tinting windows. This is two layers of 5% tint on the glass door to the sump, really dimmed the light that got through, now i just hope it stays on!

So I am about to setup a 75 also and ordered the same light. Ina, wondering I'd I should have ordered 2 photon16's.

If you could do it all over again, and the money being equal, would you still choose the photon32 over two 16's?

In one of your pictures the tank looks pretty dim on the sides (post 178), but in the last fully tank shot it looks pretty bright everywhere (post 185).

Thanks
Ray

It is dimmer on the sides but I only have the fixture at 50% output. I love the fixture and like having just one. But it is stretched to its limits on a 4ft tank

Thanks. Does it look more like post 185 on this page or 175 on the previous page?

I just don't want it to be shadowy on the sides, otherwise I will get 2 16's as they are within my tank budget.

I also have a 4 ft fixture. 2 compact one at each end. 2 Halide and 3 moonlite. Having trouble getting the salt off the plastic covers that slide into slots keeping them in place. Need to remove so can replace and clean and replace needed light. Have used vinegar and water to remove salt from other parts and it works great. Just stuck getting salt out of the groves holding the plastic covers. Thanks for any help you can give me.
