My first Scoly

Never had 1 before, but I believe they are just kind of easy to care. The only difficult part is paying for it as they don't bear any profit besides the look :)
Anyway, I got one home and it was ok, I think. Last night I saw 1 side of it was kind of dented or the skin was kind of pushed all the way to the skeleton. I fed it and it responded to the LPS pellets right away. However, after eating, it came right back to the previous shape. The flow, water direction, is kind of pushing on that side also

Dang I was afraid of that. I run 2 tunze 6095 at 35% and 1 of them is using the 12V while the other is running 20V.

I changed the 20v tunze to run at 20% night mode and 25% day mode.

These guys like low flow to really get puffy. If you feed regularly keep parameters stable and do not move them much (tissue damage can be fatal) they are pretty easy. Mine suffered a war with a lobo last week, but thankfully has partially recovered already.

Looks good! I personally have 2 Scolymia and a few brains... I notice that they like areas with less flow! Hope that helps!

I just for my first scolys as well. They look cool but still have to figure out how to frag them along with acans and lobos

Hard to frag a scoly. I remember seeing a Frankenstein scoly which was combined by 2 halves of from 2 different scolies....
