The yellow tang I got looked like a fry. It was the size of a quarter and translucent. I have no idea if he’s alive.

My tank and flow have no mercy. I am on the way home. I’ve been anxious about the yellow tang. He was swimming beside the powerhead when I added him, and I didn’t want him to get stuck.

Please please still be alive.

I came home and spent 10-15 minutes looking for the yellow tang. I closed all the powerheads, fully expecting a corpse to detach.

I kept looking and looking. I fed the tank…nothing.


Then it appeared!

Will you believe me if I was to tell you that these yellow tangs were held for 3 months in our tanks before we shipped them. Imagine what they would look like 3 months prior when breeder sold them to us.

So remember the clove polyp issue I had? It resulted in me having a TON of new real estate for upcoming acros since I had to yank out the infected rocks as if they were tumors.

Have you noticed why I’ve only been showing the right side of the tank?

No, nori fowls up our qt tanks fast and also clogs up the overflow so we dont.

How much space do you try to leave between frags? I'm at like 14 acros and some lps in my 120 and I feel like i'm running out of space fast... I try to leave 3 or 4"
