More Dreaded Dungeon Paint room photos ...
Yes I realized i can turn one of them over and i DID. But the way i have them the Wires are protected from any water. So i want one that is Revered or I Will RECONSIDER how my Switch holder will be.. That is a temp holder as one of those switches will be in my Skimmer Collection Bucket, One of them will be in the display tank Just above the water level.. Its a BLACK Side mount type. I may even put one in the top of the exterior over flow box .![]()
@Erica-Renee - I saw on the ReefPi thread that you mentioned needing a float switch that was reversed from what you had. Maybe I didn't understand what you meant (most of that thread is way over my head anyway), or you weren't speaking about these switches above, but you know that you can just flip the float portion of the switch upside down and it will work in reverse of the way they are now. You are Superwoman though, so you probably knew that already and I am the dumb one that didn't understand what the heck you were talking about. Nice rack / PVC float switch holder you made there, BTW. :)
Once in a while . This controller has been in the works for a while.I have never been totally happy with my existing sump situation . So I am testing everything on the new Sump. If need be i will make changes before i put it in use . Still need to make heater brackets.. Dosing hose Brackets, and One of the baffles needs a tweak . Then of course i have to Drill hole for my REEFLOW RETURN Pump.. HammerheadHoly cow! There is a whole lot of stuff going on here. Even built your own controller??? Do you sleep? You win!

They are all Black Silly Red is for a 3 way switch or a wired carried thru a circuit... That relay will be in a METAL BOX Mounted to a Concrete wall Connected to the Transfer switch breaker panel for Generator.. Like the other Aquarium Circuits.. I just do not have the Tranfer switch YET!! still deciding what i want. We have the Generator thou..Nice. Looks like a big project!
Although I don't see any red wires coming out of your relays.....:p
Just kidding. Your reef pi looks great.
Because if it is worth doing, it is worth over doing! ;WootThey are all Black Silly Red is for a 3 way switch or a wired carried thru a circuit... Hmm. What I was talking about doesn’t involve any repositioning of wires. Just take the clip off of the post and flip the little float thingy upside down and put the clip back on. Maybe I just didn’t have enough coffee this morning. I was kinda in a coma when I sort of woke up this morning. Excuse me if I am stating the obvious again. Old brain cells will do that. :)Yes I realized i can turn one of them over and i DID. But the way i have them the Wires are protected from any water. That's some beautiful tile work. Beautiful bathroom. I want to redo my bathroom too. and put new counters in the kitchen. but I would rather go campimg, fourwheeling, and go to Disney...or just pay for my oldest offsprings college. le sigh. yeah, that again. It is all about choices, and compromise right? le sigh.

Hi Erica, this is not the correct way to plumb the overflow system. Each drain needs to be separated and draining individually into the sump. By tying them together it will reduce the flow rate. How much flow are you running?
