The Apex is an awesome controller, period. I bought one of the first new units to come out in june 2016 and had nothing but issues. Sent it back, same problems due to bad hardware. I contacted Neptune on a Sunday and got four emails back with response/support that same day.
Decided to hold off until the new version had bugs figured out. Returned the Apex. Got an extra credit gift from Neptune due to so many issues, calls, emails, etc. Re-ordered it again, and it is working perfectly. Im very happy with the product.
Honestly, electronics have bugs when they first come out, Neptune accepted the issues when the problems were happening without hiding anything. I couldnt have been happier with the support I got and besides dissapointed at the problem, couldnt get mad at the company, they were trying to help while being honest with me the whole way.
A brand cant please all, especially with electronics. There are many different tastes out there... and good luck to those thinking GHL doesnt have their bad days also
