BRS 4 Stage RO Only Replacement Filter Kit
I just put these in my system about a month ago.

For Di
Reactor #1
SpectraPure® SilicaBuster High Capacity DI Ca...
Reactor #2
PRO Series Anion DI Resin (Color Changing) - Part 2 - Bulk Reef Supply
Reactor #3
PRO Series Mixed Bed DI Resin (Color Changing) - Part 3 - Bulk Reef Supply
All filters are brand new or just a month or two old.

So the issue is that I added the third DI canister and within making maybe 40 gallons of water it has already exhausted about 30%.
Prior to moving it to the third spot it was the second reactor and used for about 6 months with very little used.
So it worked better being 2 DI then with 3.
I have ordered from BRS
PRO Series Cation DI Resin (Color Changing) - Part 1 - Bulk Reef Supply

After watching BRS videos they say that on a 3 DI system the second reactor with Anion would used up in a much higher percentages than the Mixed Bed Di.
But in my cased the Mixed Bed is being used up super fast.
I have city water and I have not experienced anything like this before.
Any ideas on why?

It is hard to see but the third DI reactor is almost even with the first, it went from nearly brand new a week ago to 30% used up.

^^^^^ That is a older picture showing the system, those 2 DI are still on the system, #2 reactor is #3 now, you can barely see but there is very little color changing going on.

Do you have a flush bypass for when the system turns on? You can easily burn through resin if you allow the initial minute or so of water to go through the DI resin. It may not be the issue but I have found that to be the case in my and others RODI system.

Ok I used to flush the system but I have not for a long time, my system is manual, I turn it on and then off, so my old habits I did not have this issue.

When you do a BRS Pro series, do all of the filters have to be the Pro figuration,
Does it have to be
1 Cation
2 Anion
3 Mixed bed

My #1 is a Speatrapure Di color changing. It is expensive. I never had this problem until I added the Anion to the #2 spot and moved the Mixed bed form #2 to spot # 3

I would run the flush valve for a couple minutes before each use.
When following the “Pro Series” then you definitely want to follow the configuration of cation, anion and mixed bed.
Do you know exactly what media is in the Spectrapure silica buster filter?
Also, I do not know if you are running a booster pump, or not, but they can significantly increase performance/efficiency of the system.

Why do you have the silica buster first? Spectrapure always has it last in their systems.

When I had the old system the Speatrpure filter is what I started with, and then when I added on I added the Mixed Bed second, then I added on another canister so anion to the system last week,
So same old Speatrapure
Anion
Mixed Reef
When I added the Anion that is when I noticed I was Burning through the Mixed Bed. (not During) stupid brain. I can not change the title. Just like I cannot change my name to Blue Ring Octopus . Same brain age old problem.

I will receive my Cation by Friday so no more water making until then.
My city water pressure is just above 55 psi.

I was getting 1 TDS with Spectrapure and the mixed bed.

I am still getting 1 TDS with all three DI resins.
I am thinking about doing a water sample of my incoming water and outcome water to see what is going on.

I would guess something is not right with your system (either water or meter) if you could not get 0 tds water with a spectrapure and a mixed bed.

What would they run in front of the Silica DI resin?
Have not found my Handheld TFS meter yet, so I cannot double check my reads.
So now I have a Spectrapure Silica DI SpectraPure® SilicaBuster High Capacity DI Ca...
It still has lots of life in it.
It seemed to work OK with the Mix Bed.
I need to figure out how to finish the life out of the Spectrapure Silica DI.
What used I use with it and in what order?
So Have Cation, Anion and Mixed Bed, I have a 3 chamber DI set up
1) ?
2) ?
3) Speactrapure Silica DI

Can you remove a half used DI resin and dry it out and use later down the year?

Their max cap systems use the max cap resin filter in front of the Silicabuster.

I usa a four stage cation, anion, mega max-cap, endro.

They used to have lots of information on their website but it is hard to find now and you have to be logged in.

Keeping it clean: Have you used a filter roller?
