Hi all, thanks for letting me join. I'm sure I will have a bunch of questions on this journey.

We just bought a Coralife Biocube 32 LED last week. We brought it home and assembled the stand and got it all set up. My LFS where I bought it had me put bio balls in the rear sump and a heater and Coralife protein skimmer in chamber 1. I put 40lbs of live sand in the tank.
I went back to the store on Monday and bought 25lbs of live rock (all they had) and some Dr Tim's stuff they told me to squirt in the tank to cycle it. After doing some reading online, I decided to remove the bioballs, and purchased an Intank media basket. I am running filter floss, Purigen, and Chemistry Pure Blue (their recommendation) in it.
Test results after 5 days are:
Wed.
PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:10
Salinity: 1.027
Thurs.
PH:8.4
Ammonia:0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:5
Salinity: 1.027
I am going back to the LFS today to get my last 7lbs of rock. They told me I can add a couple damsels today, but I don't really want damsels in my tank. Main reason is I am only going to be able to have 5-6 fish, and don't want to waste it on some damsels. My plans for the tank is 5-6 fish, CUC, and 8-10 corals. Does this sound doable? Also, do my numbers look good enough to start getting my clean up crew today instead of damsels? Thanks.
