Hii! I plan on setting up my first saltwater aquarium soon for a pair of clownfish and a fire shrimp.
I’ve always liked aquariums but it was my uncle who got me into saltwater by talking about his big reef tank.
I’m starting small though, even though it’s harder to maintain the water.
Anyways I’d eventually like to get an anemone when my tank is old enough but tbh they lowkey scare me. I’m starting off with just live rock and live sand though, and I’ll add some coral when my tank is a couple months old

Welcome to Reef2Reef!
It's a good idea to be patient before adding corals/anemones. First the tank will go through the nitrogen cycle and then the ugly phase will begin during which some nasty algae/protists/bacteria can appear. This is totally normal and usually doesn't require intervention, but it can harm corals and it's therefore easier to add the first robust corals once the ugly phase comes to an end.
