Thank you have you a great one.

What size tank? Dimensions? How many lights? What corals?

Lots of info is needed to give answers
I have an innovative marine fusion pro 20, the dimensions are H:13 W:15 L:23.62

I have only one of the 135w navareef lights.

For corals I got a frag if zoa’s, two frags of kryptonite trumpet / candy canes , and one Duncan.

You will want to turn them way down. You can tune the light with a watt meter if you happen to have one. You only need to run it around 25 watts for a 20 gallon tank

I don’t have a watts meter is there one that you would recommend?

Kill a watt brand is a good one for $30. I bet most of the $10-15 meters on Amazon work just fine.

Ryan from Serious Reefs (he used to own Bulk Reef Supply) did a great video on tuning lights by using watts instead of expensive PAR meters. He found that putting 75% of the watts into blue and violet and then 25% into the whites was a great way to set lights up.

So something like 17-18 watts into blues and the rest into whites should get you into the sweet spot for LPS and softies

Maybe someone else who has a NavaReef could give you percentages. I don’t have one myself but I bought and thoroughly tested the Nicrew Hyperreef. It’s a great light

Let me ask if I have the gen 2 controller would the work also? Or get a watt meter that controls the amount of watts to my light?

You will use the controller to run the whole thing.

You plug the light into the watt meter and then make changes on the controller. As you increase the percentages on the controller you will watch the watt meter to see how many watts the light is pulling. Once you have your settings, you can unplug the light from the watt meter, and unplug the watt meter completely. Use it to check other items for fun especially pumps. As pumps get dirty, they pull less power.

Oh okay I’m understanding what you’re talking about now that makes way more sense lol thank you again
