I'm actually really impressed between the price point and the performance. Have to keep these in mind for the future

I ran two on a 120-gallon reef for months. Corals were/are growing and colorful.
I am little late to this thread, but would 2 of these lights be enough for a 105 that is 48x24x20.The tank has about 20 RBTAs and LPS on the sand bed.I have been using Reefbreeders Photon 48 inch.It looks to me the light is losing power.Started using the light in 2014 when they come out.

I think 3 would be a better choice since your tank is heavily stocked.

Dana,
I have a 120g tank (48"x24"x24") that I am just setting up. I won a Noopsyche K7 Pro II light so I am using it as a start. I am thinking I will add another light. My tank does not have anything living in it yet and will take years to populate I guess. Not knowing any better, I have the mounting arm as high off the water as possible (9.5" from lens to the water surface).
Should I lower the light to 5" ? 6"? 8"?
Is there a recommended schedule and setting for the light(s)?
Right now I am trying to get the light running on a schedule - I had it working but must have messed it up and it would not turn off last night - I unplugged it.

Thank you

I am hoping to hear from other users on that size of tank and corals. To see how they like the lights.

I recently added one of these to a nano. You may be able to get two for your 48" tank and have some par drop around the edges, but if you want a more even distribution across the tank then IMO three lights are appropriate.

Thanks for your input.Think i will start with 2 and go from there
