Hey all. I'm back again with another critter, er, uh something that I need help ID. It's really weird. It almost looks like an intestine. Long and white. They are all over my tank. Not sure what is going on. As always thank you in advance!

Snail eggs for sure I don't know what kind though . I always wondered if they actually live long enough to be a real snail.
I’ve noticed if they do if laid certain places in my tank a few weeks later I get a lot of small ones crawling around but then they never seem to make it lol

It is the infamous Green Star Polyps! I have only had it for 2 months. However I keep it on an isolated island. When I get home I'll take a better picture of it

I used to have one but its dead now... I think my nitrates were too high... what kind of filter to you have? What size did the green star polyp start at?
Thanks!

It started the size of a quarter. I have a 29g sump with a refugium and skimmer. I use the bubble magus curve 5 elite skimmer. I also keep more rock in the refugium to aid with biological filtration.

It got that big in 2 months!! I wonder what I did wrong :( I have had it for a year and it just slowly decayed :/

GSP is the fastest growing coral. Ppl refer to them as reef weeds. Once they touch a rock in the tank it's really hard to get rid of them

I would def check all your parameters. Salinity, ph, and alkalinity for sure.
