Orange feather duster.

So I just got my shipment via UPS and one of the items is an orange feather duster. I assumed this would be on a rock or something and it is just a pile of mushy worm things.what is the best way to install that in my tank?

throw it in the sand and let it do its thing lol

Should I turn off the flow for a little while? Do I bury in the sand? So really it goes wherever it wants to live I don't place at?

no you place it where you'd like it to go, they normally have a little sock live shell that will generate over them in the sand.just from my experience they'll kind of burry themselves half way and do their thing lol

Great... In the time I was at work, they "rolled around" and landed 1/2 on my blue clam, and up against my torch.
Hmmm NOT what I was expecting...
