Otohime was the reference diet in all of my larval nutrition trials, the best weaning diet with the exception of some very new feeds. Excellent stuff!

How often do you refill the autofeeder? My primary concern with feed stored at room (tank) temp is oxidation/degradation before it can get fed to the tank. In larval trials, we wouldn't feed Otohime that had sat more than about 8 hrs. I'm interested in a more practical limit that you might have found.

Edit: Oops, forgot the most important question. What size TDO Otohime are you feeding? Does it cake or clog the autofeeder? Which feeder do you use?

I keep it frozen and thaw it out for use one week at a time. My fish loves it. I use C1 which is perfect for the feeder and for my wrasses, and angels, and tangs. 90+% got eaten still floating, I have a few specialist, especially my purple tang, would cruise the bottom until all the one of the sand are picked up.

I got other pellets, but they love OTOhime the best. More than frozen mysis.

Just added a bunch of snails last week. They just start to have an impact on my algae.
I got spoiled because I have a strain of Isopods that eat algae like crazy and control my algae well until now. As I added wrasses into my tank, they hunt and eat these Isopods to extinction (almost) in DT. These Isopods control algae in my sump and overflow box well. but not in DT.
Anyway, I start to see my hair algae going a way. These large snails and my two abalones will clean them up in a few weeks I think.

I am sick today and have to stay at home, but not too sick for taken pictures. I wanted to take a few pictures to show how fat my Labouti Fairy wrasse is. I think I am successful with the following pictures. It is extremely difficult to take good picture of this guy that is for sure. He flash across the whole length of the tank in a second or so. I have to take picture of him right in front of me, or else there is too much distortion from the grass if I take picture at an oblique angle. A lot of pictures were taken in order to come up with the following. Enjoy.

My Biocellatus 'Christmas' Wrasse. He is a really beautiful wrasse.

Finally a picture of my Solorensis that I am happy with. I did not think that this would be a difficult wrasse to photograph, but the color is such that it is very hard to accurately capture.

Mt Isosceles Flasher. First day in DT. He is still shy. I added him early because he seem to get less active in DT instead of more active. I was un-happy but I think so far, I think I make the correct decision. He hold up under a ledge and is eating. The other wrasses leave him alone. No chasing.

Well, of my Leopards, only the Potter is up. He is usually up at the crack of light. I find my Eightline Flasher tangle with on of the carpet today. He was able to escape and acts normal at this time, other than not moving the pectoral fin the L side too well. Hope he will be fine. What won't kill him will make him smarter. Hope this is the case.

My Eightline this PM. he is better, able to move his L pectoral fin OK. His movement is a lot better. swimming almost normal. I think he will live and will have a healthy respect for carpets. He as not eating this AM and only eat minimal this PM. I think he lost some weight even in comparison his picture from this AM to now.

My Eightline Flasher is doing well, just need to heal now. It does not appears that she go infection or any problem. Of the 4 Black leopard I put into the tank a few days ago, only three are out yesterday and the day before. The eat but not too much. Yesterday only two went to bed and the third one was not able to find a place. She keep on trying to dig in the place where the current carry most of the sand away to essentially bare bottom. When I went to bed she is still not in the sand. This AM, she was not there. Hope she finally wise up and go to where the sand is deeper. Will see if she come out today. At 8AM when I go to work, they are not out yet, so they miss the AM tank feeding.
Below are pictures of my changing Labouti Fairy over 4 months from 5/8/18-8/30/18. He grew about 1 inch over this time. He is right at about 4 inches right now. Still changing but darken up a lot since I got him. I wish his yellow line would come in but there is no increase of the yellow coloration.

My Mandarin pair. I had the female for the last several months. The male a month before that. She was small and emaciated when I first got her. I can call her chubby now although not as chubby as the male. I imagine they will spawn in the near future.

Hey Minh, are you feeding them something they eat or just pods from your system?
Also, wondering since so many say you can't keep them if too many wrasses....

They actually just hunt. Don’t eat anything I feed the tank as far as I can see. IMO, Mandarin preys are a little smaller than the prey of most wrasse. Wrasses also eat food I feed the tank. The more you feed the less hunting they do, and I feed a lot. The same goes for small Angels.

I am sad to update that out of my 4 Black Leopards, I only have one healthy and doing well. The other three have passed. I never struck out so bad. 8 Leopards, 4 Potters and 4 Blacks, I only have 1 Potter and 1 black living. 25% is really un-acceptable. I have keep Leopards before and never have this problem. Here is my Lone Black Leopard this AM.

The Black Leopard is eating well and gaining weight. I think in the future, I will avoid small Black Leopard. These guys were only about 1.5 inches and cannot eat frozen mysis shrimp. And because they re so small, they cannot go without food for long. Of the four, the one that live was actively hunting right out of the bag. All 4 tried to eat mysis but take them multiple attempts to swallow one. Most time other fish just took it from them when they chewed and regurgitated.
If I decided to get some more I will get them at least 2+ inches. Here are picture of my lone living Black Leopard, plus stange picture of my China Wrasse .
