I have been fighting GHA and it is finally getting better. All during this time my ORP has been between 350-400. Now it is between 450-500, but I still have some GHA. Where should the ORP be approximately. I know its not a simple measurement like salinity.
 
In general, ORP will never get too high in the absence of adding oxidizers like ozone. So you never need to worry about high ORP in such a scenario.

Also, ORP starts to read high when the probes get dirty, so you might clean the probe. :)
