Pancho's Reef S-500 Roller Coaster

The biopellets are starting to work, the nitrates are in 20 ppm and the phosphates went down to 0.25 ppm. It is better to go slow to avoid a “shock” to the corals.

I ordered more pods and after having my latest torch surviving for 6 months, I believe I am ready so requested a gold torch, I hope it will not take months before receiving it. [emoji2955]

Totally agree. I was at .3 po4 and 50ish no3... was patient. Got the macro in the refugium and it's been naturally coming down ever since. I prefer a slower pace with changes to the reef... it just eases the transition and acclimation for everything alive in your tank.

I want sushi from japan. FedEx overnight.

Here you go @RichtheReefer21 !!

From the real Tsukiji fish market.

Well you would have thought at that price they would have cooked it!! Lol

That’s a bit to raw for me especially the white fish with eyes in, awwww yuk!

Don’t be surprised Pancho when you get home, if all your fish start hiding and shivering whenever you enter the room, especially with net in hand! And if you lick your lips they will leap for cover! Lol

The most traditional place to eat sushi and sashimi in Japan is the Tsukiji fish market [emoji39].

@SPR my fish are so used to be alone that now they wonder who am I... LOL

It seems this world cannot be at peace, as my Blue Tang and the Fox Face grow the Fox Face is chasing the Blue Tang at a much faster rate. In the meantime the Yellow Tang is like “what is going on?”

They have been in the tank together for more than a year. I will place some mirrors and increase feeding to try to reduce the aggression.

Politics taking over the internet now too. Smh...

Sorry to hear the fox is misbehaving. Hope the mirrors work for you. I know a lot of people that have had success using them.

Politics....

I do not know why it was flagged, Youtube accept it and the song was truly available, I post in other places and it was not flagged there either. I guess I will have to change the music.... :(

I have been trying to figure it out moonlight, after investigating and reading found this video series in Red Sea Youtube channel, very interesting and educational for me.

I did not know about PUR (not PAR), nor the fact that corals do not use green, red, yellow spectrum. For the moon lights they do not recommend to go all night long to avoid damaging the corals.

I feel this way about plants too, say in a refugium. Normal respiration needs a dark period in my opinion.
