More equipment under the tank. I think the control panel is pretty much done. I do have an MP 40 on the old tanks I will eventually move over.

I did move over the Apex head unit from the old tanks to the new. I installed a PM1 I had on the old tanks so i can continue to monitor the pH over there.

Ordered a $20 table online to squeeze in a DOS and Trident. Moving the Trident over is going to be tricky.

When your cabinet is so large, it has room for a table inside…

@Peanut
Just read through this whole build thread and I don’t think I’ve ever liked so many posts in one sitting. Awesome build, awesome ideas, it looks incredible!

I’ll catch you in the SBB threads, can’t wait to see how you stock this and how it looks a year from now!

Sand is getting blown around way too much by the 2 returns. I need to split them further. Printed up some 3/4" loc line

Working on some random flow generators too. So far happy with the split.

Totally. Like the 3D printing McGuiver.

Me. Can’t figure out what parts I need to order. Buys wrong. Then buys everything and plan to return what’s not used.

@Peanut
The tank is 6x2 so that reduces to a ratio of 3:1. One lockline faces forwards and the other is lateral. To ensure even flow I printed my own lockline splitter, and the output facing horizontal is 3x the size as the nozzle that faces forwards

It's funny because I really feel like I'm winging it.

I print a bunch of stuff that end up in the garbage. time to prototype is only a matter of hours, and there are many many prototypes.

Also helps that I can now tell my wife that WE saved another $120 since we own a printer. It's easily paid for itself by now.

I setup my DOS to do "water changes" between the old tank and new. I have exchanged the maximum 31.6 gallons per day for the past several days. This will make moving everything over super easy without the need for acclimation.
