Hi
I joined this group as I’m learning and it’s my first tank.
I have 2 peppermint shrimp and watched something really strange!
One of my shrimps was bent over taking what looked like white eggs, from his own tummy then eating them.
It really grossed me out as I don’t know what it’s doing.
Does anyone have an idea?

Likely infertile and will eat the eggs in return

Welcome to the group! Someone with more knowledge can confirm but I believe that fertile peppermint shrimp eggs would have a green/yellowish tint to them!
I don’t have a peppermint shrimp but my skunk cleaner shrimp’s eggs are yellow.
