Does anybody know a better way to catch peppermint shrimp than using the water bottle method where you cut the water bottle In half and then invert the top half into the bottom half? I tried this method and it seems to trap more snails than it does peppermint shrimp🙃

Depends on where the peppermint shrimp is. Mine seems to be nocturnal and comes out onto the Sandbed at night. What I would do is when it comes out of hiding, Use a net quickly to trap it and then try to coax it into the net and put it in whatever you plan to keep it in.

Set your alarm for midnight. It will be out and about by then. Just scoop it up with a net. The only way that worked for me. Have done it many times.

Still no success they’d rather eat my rbta and rock flower anemone than actual food I guess.
