Nightly update, she's still doing great! I still have her in hypo, she's doing much better with it since I started adding more kh buffer.

Found these at Marine Depot. Anyone have experience with them? Posted this question in the medicine forum, but haven’t had a response. Thought I’d try here since we’ve definitely talked about most treatments available:confused:

@ngoodermuth, do you have any experience with these medications?

Here's a pic of her this morning, she was swimming around eating until she saw the phone. It's been a little while since I've said it, thank you everyone for all of your support!

Not all heroes wear capes. ;)

I haven't seen her flashing any more so far, I only noticed it that one time when I took the video
She could just be testing out a new sleeping spot. Her swimming looked normal for a blue tang to me.

Hopefully that's all it is, she seemed to almost be playing in the current

Keep an eye on her, swimming into the flow and flashing can be a sign of velvet... but, it would be VERY difficult to believe that velvet has somehow been suppressed all this time.

Either way, if you notice the flashing becoming persistent (and that would be very “mild” flashing in the video. When I see fish with velvet, it’s like non-stop and very methodically targeting the gills) or if she starts breathing very rapidly, or obviously develops white spots... we might have to come up with a game plan to get her out of hypo and into copper.

But, I highly, highly doubt she has velvet. Velvet has a very fast life cycle and can multiply to very large numbers literally overnight so for it to be dormant for this long would be extremely unusual. Especially in a tang.

I think it’s more likely she just had an itch. Those fluke bites and the HLLE are probably still healing up and maybe a little itchy :)
