Ugh, I just got home and found I lost another fish that I thought was fine, one of my cardinals. The clown is doing slightly better but she's still breathing a little heavy and acting lethargic. Still no ammonia and I'm running 3 small powerheads and a bubbler. All of the other fish seem fine and I'm not seeing any signs of infection
:(

I’m sorry, I’d give the remaining fish a little more time to recover and then continue to bump up the copper. Slowly if you can [emoji12]

I hope I didn't do the wrong thing last night but I was getting very worried about her so I did change out some more water and got the copper down to 1.10. I just checked and she was swimming inside of one of the pvc fittings so I couldn't see how well she was breathing yet. I think the fact that she was inside the fitting is an improvement, she spent nearly the whole day laying in the corner of the tank yesterday. I am going to go much slower with the copper after this! ;)

It’s probably better that you did, I’d give them today to recover and start again tomorrow.

Ok good, and thank you. I was just able to check her breathing, it's still a little fast but she's much more active and actually swimming back and forth in the fitting.

Well, not much upside as at that level it won't be helping the fish all that much. Downside is, longer overall exposure (clock doesn't start until they reach therapeutic) and the fish will be continuing to manage the parasite-load on their own which is a little harder for them in a sterile QT environment. Personally, I'd try to keep bumping it up... can go slowly as you'd like, though. I take 4-5 days, or up to a full week, myself. But, I usually have a wrasse in the mix ;)

If you wanted, could bring it to 1.5 and hold it there until after the second bath. That is at least in the minimum therapeutic range, so it should suppress the parasites even if it doesn't eradicate them fully.

Just want to let everyone know that Baby Dory is still doing really well! She keeps hiding every time I try to take a pic but I'll see if I can catch her off guard sometime tonight. In the meantime I thought everyone may want to see a video of my clowns I've been talking about, their names are Caitlin and Bruce. I took this video last night after the water change and luckily Caitlin is doing much better.

Sorry, I haven't kept up with all the posts. Why are you doing all these treatments and where did all these other fish come from. Are these also Petco rescues?

These are all of my other fish that I've had for a while, I've been managing ich and they also ended up with Prazi resistant flukes so they are all in a 40 gallon breeder and my dts are fallow

How did they end up with Prazi resistant flukes? Did you add something new to the DT or have they had them all along? What led you to start treating them now? What changed?

I know I had flukes a few months back before rescuing the tangs and treated with Prazi so I'm not too sure if they had them already or if I accidently contaminated the tanks when treating the tangs, either is possible. I saw signs of disease and did a freshwater dip on a fish and found them again

It is nice to finally meet them. What breed of clowns are they?
